Bitmine Immersion Technologies has purchased an additional 32,447 Ether (ETH), bringing its total crypto, cash, and investment portfolio to nearly $14.9 billion. The company now holds over 5.84 million ETH representing roughly 4.8% of the total circulating supply putting it close to its long-term goal of acquiring 5% of all Ethereum. Most of these holdings are currently generating yield through network staking.

Bitmine Immersion Technologies has continued its multi-month accumulation strategy by acquiring 32,447 additional Ether (ETH).

The latest disclosure confirms that the company’s broader treasury portfolio which encompasses cryptocurrencies, cash reserves, and equity investments has reached a combined valuation of approximately $14.9 billion.

According to official disclosures, the recent purchase elevates Bitmine’s total Ethereum reserves to 5,847,611 ETH. This balance represents about 4.8% of the total circulating Ethereum supply, leaving the enterprise roughly 97% of the way toward its stated target of owning 5% of all ETH.

Key operational and financial details disclosed by Bitmine include:

  • Weekly Accumulation Pattern: The company has bought ETH every single week since initiating its Ethereum-focused treasury strategy on June 30, 2025.
  • Active Staking Yields: Out of its total Ether reserves, Bitmine has staked approximately 5.07 million ETH (about 87% of its holdings). This staking infrastructure is projected to yield around $330 million in annual staking rewards based on current rates.
  • Diversified Holdings: Beyond its primary Ethereum position, Bitmine’s $14.9 billion portfolio includes 210 Bitcoin (BTC), $308 million in cash and marketable securities, as well as minority strategic investments in external private and public entities.

The recent acquisition arrived alongside a broader market rally, during which Ether’s spot price rose by more than 30% over the week. This price appreciation helped significantly narrow Bitmine’s earlier paper losses from prior market downturns.

Bitmine Immersion Technologies is a publicly traded firm on the New York Stock Exchange. Under Chairman Thomas “Tom” Lee, the company adopted a corporate balance-sheet model centered on accumulating Ethereum, operating similarly to corporate Bitcoin treasury strategies executed by other public entities.

Ethereum staking involves locking up ETH tokens to help secure the underlying proof-of-stake blockchain network in exchange for rewards. By deploying over 87% of its assets into staking validators, Bitmine aims to capture ongoing operational yield rather than relying solely on spot price appreciation. Executive commentary suggests the company anticipates growing institutional interest in tokenized real-world assets and artificial intelligence applications will drive long-term network demand.

Bitmine’s latest acquisition reinforces its commitment to building the world’s largest corporate Ethereum reserve. As the company inches closer to its 5% supply ownership milestone, its combination of active staking yields and substantial treasury reserves places it in a distinct position within the digital asset market.
